Hello all,
I have completed checking T4 Book B FF&S Table 159: Basic Hull Size p. 102 with Equation 67: Basic Hull Factors on p. 103.
I found that 83 of the tables surface area entries do not match Equation 67b and 11 structural factor entries do not match Equation 67c.
The structural factor entries per the table are 0.001, but the first 11 entries are all less than that according to the equation. The easiest solution is to add a clarification that the minimum structural factor is 0.001 for hull <= 42 m^3.
The surface area is another matter and would require the table to be rewritten.
Would anyone like to review my findings before I send them to DonM?
