I was cleaning a huge number of fallen leaves out of our koi pond this morning. We've already taken over 2000 lbs of leaves off our 1.25 acre lot so far this year and you would never know it from the number of leaves that are still on the ground.
Which got me to thinking about TDX, the explosive that directs its explosive force perpendicular to the planetary gravitational field...
Which got me to thinking about Manuever Drives and how they work off of manipulating gravitational forces...
Which got me to thinking about hi-tech gravitational devices that would manipulate falling leaves, nuts, and branches into falling into neat piles. The mechanism would need to differentiate based on weight of the falling items so leaves would go one place, nuts another, and branches a third place. Obviously, this wouldn't be perfect but it would sure make things around the home (or corporate grounds) easier to maintain.
What kind of tech level would that be?
