1hit point, immobile, 1point penetrating damage (sting) one shot when stepped on. Camouflaged. typically found in clusters of 3d6

2mm long needle shaped mollusc-like immobile amphibian, found on the beaches of the arctic iceshelf. Camouflaged as an ice crystal, a Skaoi’s Hair sting can easily penetrate the sole of a standard spaceboot delivering a sting of nerve toxin. Whilst essentially harmless due to the minuscule dose, the toxin will register on scanners as highly lethal !!

Typical use....make the players paranoid... and could be used to create a dose of a very lethal unique and unregistered poison if collected in quantity.

And given the time and effort, having the "Lethal" poison break down over a relatively short time at above 20C would be just typical!

This strikes me as more simple player harassment. No way of detecting it given the size. As for the minuscule doze, one milligram of VX is lethal to an adult male, with lesser quantities capable of killing susceptible individuals.

If stepped on, the person goes into muscle spasms induced by the agent for a period of time and then should take a permanent loss of 1D6 to his dexterity due to long-term nerve damage.

Right up my alley! I really like critters like this. Makes for fun ROLE playing!
