The following character may or may not be in the OTU, the GM is being vague since she hasn't made up her mind yet, we so have a Human lead multi-race Empire trailing of us a fair way that sounds like it could be the 3I, and there is a rather nebulous Precursor race that could be the Ancients.

that is an awful lot of skills for 1 term, and somehow 2 benefit rolls? Which rules set were used? and curious as to how the belter term (14-18) ended up a Naval Militia Leftenant - is she now in the Navy?

Free Vaccsuit fro Career Basic, Two per Term Pilot & Prospecting), bonus from first term (0g-opps), and we "borrowed" Special Duty from MT and a free level of Robotics from being a Robot owner, the Ship Jinx has a Robot Brain. listed her backgrounds and most of her defults, I accdently listed Computer twice.

her Naval Militia rank comes from her Special Duty, she was a Child Solider in a Belt War when she was 16

she got a Strike (something else lifted from MT I think) giving her the Cash and her ship was her normal benefit

You know the funny thing, in her first game time expedition she was tare assing across a Kirkwood Gap at 2G and wile running sensor calibrations found something twice in under a week, the first time was just under a day out, a Debris field orbiting slightly on the diagonal to the stars normal plane, she picked a promising 10t rock and took it in to one of her bays, baked out the Volatiles to make back the Re Mass she used diverting from her course, got 5t of med density metals and 5t of N-I Rock. the 2nd was towards the end of the first week out, a 10t cometary fragment with a ton of Radioactives, an other ton of uncommon Volatiles and the rest was just ice. she could have dumped the Junk and headed on to her planed destination, but she thought better of it had headed home.

Brokerage fees ate up all the excess from getting above average rolls on everything but the raidoactives that went fro base price. Banks paid off for the Quarter, got a somewhat healthy operating fund, thinking of getting some mining bots, perhaps a Tech Bot and a Master unit for Jinx

The Jinx is a TL12 Type J1(+) a purpouse built alternitive to the Type J Conversions it is functionally identical but there is some rearrangement of internal mechanisms and facilities that eliminates the protrusions of the landing gear in to the ore bays. the ship has a matalic compisite coating to prevent corrosion and has metallic orange and retro-reflective racing stripes on both the dorsal and ventral sides.

Ines was born on "The Cylinder" a Gray Vivariums type habitat on the inner edge of the inner Belt, though the Cylinder is on the smaller side only being around 25km in length and in theory capable of housing 10-12 million people it is home to just under 5.5 million permanent and long term residents.

never really trusting communal air and organic food at age 12 she left her parents Hab to live and finish secondary schooling in the university prep dooms in one of the end caps, though she had done most of her 1st year and some of her 2nd year studies at her Prep she commenced university at age 14, completing her Honors year in both Geo-Sciences and Astronautics just before her sixteenth birthday, she went to work as a deckhand on a relatives J-400 and a few months later the Belt War broke out, instead of taking up the contract offer her relative was offering she signed on to one of the Defense Co-Ops that would eventually be absorbed in to the Naval Militia when the Imp Corp had it's war-crimes exposed, she started as a helmsman spent a time as a gunner before transferring over to Boarding & Prize Crew, eventually she was given her own Type-J Raider, after 17 months of war weeks before victory she was made leader of he Element that she only got to command in battle twice.

After the War she went back to her relatives Type J-400 for a few months as the Prize Courts sorted out what she was due, insted of taking her full prize she instead took a newly completed J-1, a stack of Cash and full Scholarships for her Masters Degrees she has applied for.
